For the fifth year in a row, the Bay Area had the most expensive zip code in the country in 2021. Which made us wonder what the cheapest home sold looks like in 2021 in a location where the median sale price is the highest in the country? We’ve rounded up the three cheapest sales in the Bay Area’s most expensive ZIP codes – Atherton (94027), Ross (94957) and Los Altos (94022) along with the three cheapest homes currently listed in each. of these exclusive markets. .

Atherton isn’t alone in the Bay Area when it comes to America’s most expensive real estate. PropertyShark’s analysis of the nation’s 100 most expensive postcodes in 2021 shows the Bay Area is home to almost half of them: 47 of the country’s most expensive postcodes are in the Bay Area.
