Lift Events & Experiences Announces Game-Changing San Francisco Cannabis Trade Conference and Trade Show

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lift Events & Experiences, known for Canada’s number one cannabis industry conferences and trade shows, is expanding across the continent. This U.S. launch is set to shock — and pleasantly surprise — with advocacy-focused content, inclusive networking, irresistible activations, and unparalleled new product discovery opportunities with products live on the living room to see, touch and feel. Dedicated to honoring the local heritage of the cannabis industry, while serving each of its unique modern audiences, Lift’s first U.S. event will be hosted at Moscone Center in San Francisco from Wednesday, August 2 through Friday, August 4, 2023.

“Lift welcomes everyone from alumni to multistate operators to everyday people who appreciate and respect the factory,” says Lindsay Roberts, portfolio manager for Lift Events & Experiences. “We are producing a year of shows that meet the specific needs of each segment of the cannabis community while inspiring an exciting future. To underscore this commitment, we are dropping our former ‘&Co. Expo moniker to simply emphasize “Lift” as we strive to bring about positive change across North America. »

Well known for its events in Toronto and Vancouver, Lift’s recent change in ownership puts an experienced and driven group at the helm as it adds San Francisco to its 2023 lineup. Through one-on-one connections and conversations, the Lift team ensures that each event’s content, exposure and activations are unique. Above all, Lift focuses on individual audiences across the cannabis spectrum – growers, brands and product delivery, advocacy and investment, legal/compliance, budtenders and more – while paying homage to the roots of each location. event.

“The Lift brand has a remarkable history of uplifting thought leaders and pioneers in our industry,” said Gia Morón, president of Women Grow. “Cannabis is at a pivotal time in the United States, Canada and around the world. I’m thrilled to see Lift bring their unique event to San Francisco. It’s a wonderful opportunity to develop a responsible, fair and profitable industry – and to have a great time doing it.

“It’s great to see a Canadian event like Lift now expanding into the US market, especially a market as close to the heart of the cannabis industry as San Francisco,” said Dan Sutton, CEO of Tantalus Labs, in British Columbia. “The connections between the US West Coast and the thriving cannabis culture of Western Canada are well known, and the Lift event connecting these cultures highlights the value of this increasingly global conversation.

The event will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Lift will incorporate some of the historic elements of the Cannabis Business Summit & Expo into Lift San Francisco and is honored to host in a city recognized as the epicenter of America’s cannabis reform movement. The three-day program will include the Lift Cannabis trade conference on August 2, 2023, followed by two days of exhibits and activations on August 3-4, 2023. Key to the experience are surprises and “a- ha” from Lift, which can include live music, cameo appearances, unique giveaways and demonstrations, and the legendary Lift After Party. Notably, the Moscone Center in San Francisco also makes possible something quite unique: the ability for brands to showcase products on the show floor for attendees to see, touch and smell. In short, Insiders always “expect the unexpected” at Lift.

Throughout the event, topics regarding business, diversity, and the future viability of cannabis will be discussed, and healthy debates with tangible results will be encouraged. Subject matter experts and fresh new voices will take the stage. Retailers, brands and those who help create them, from seed to sale, will be valued and innovative new products will emerge. Last but not least, the Lift team is also committed to competitive pricing at a time when so many in our industry are feeling the pinch. It’s all in the day for events and experiences dedicated to lifting the cannabis community.
