Baseball to face San Francisco in Medford

CORVALLIS, Oregon – Oregon state baseball will face San Francisco in a neutral venue exhibition game in Medford, Ore. On Oct. 16, it was announced Thursday.

The Beavers and Dons are expected to play two games that day, starting at 1 p.m. PT. The second game will begin around 4:30 pm The teams will play at Harry & David Field, home to the Medford Rogues, a summer league team of the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League.

Tickets for the exhibition games can be purchased starting September 27 at 10 a.m. by visiting medfordrogues.com.

The Beavers finished the 2021 season 37-24 and advanced to the Fort Worth Regional’s final game. San Francisco posted a 25-28 mark and a 16-11 record in the West Coast Conference.

The teams have met 15 times during the regular season; OSU has a 10-5 advantage.
